Ganapataye is another word for Ganesha (the remover of obstacles). Namaha means salutations. So this translates to: salutations to the remover of obstacles.  While the Root Chakra chant is also to Ganesha, the Third Eye chant is about removing obstacles so that you may see more clearly. 
 
Use this chant to support you when your vision has become cloudy, and/or to support in opening of your third eye.
