My first experience with energy healing was in 2008 through the form of Reiki. A dear friend offered me a session, long distance. At the time, I didn’t even understand how that was possible, but something in me knew to try it — and the experience changed me forever. I suddenly had a tangible experience for what I had always known: we are more than our physical bodies. 

 

Over the next nine years, I studied with as many healers in as many modalities as I could, all while holding down a corporate job and staying under the radar in the muggle world. In 2017, Spirit shoved me out the nest, and I began my healing practice, even if, at first, reluctantly. 

 

It began with Reiki and what I now call Intuitive Healing Sessions which combine multiple modalities into my own unique form of intuitive reading and energy healing. Additional modalities showed up along the way including Spirit Readings, Astrology Readings, Rife Frequency work, Moon Ceremonies, Intuitive Collage, Mentorship, an online membership, chanting, meditation, custom essential oil blends, a partnership with Young Living, courses on multiple subjects — and the list will continue to grow — because I am a forever student/teacher with my Sun in the 9th house, and my 6th house of health and wellness in Gemini (aka, everything, everywhere, all at once). 

 

That’s the thing about this earth school journey, we want to fit in and belong, but being our unique self often means not belonging; it means disrupting the status quo — hello Uranus — and it makes others uncomfortable when we do! It even makes US uncomfortable! But that doesn’t mean not to do it. My own expansion has taken time and much inner work to allow. I grew up feeling too much and trying to shut it all down for comfort sake, but comfort isn’t why we came here! And eventually comfort makes us sick if we’re not allowing ourselves to expand into the truth of who we are.  

 

That is now my mission — To support others in finding their unique gift so they can get to the business of giving it.
